Scholastic Book Order

Don't forget!  Book orders are due tomorrow!  You can do this online!  The more books YOU order, the more books we can add to our classroom library.   We have gone through most of the books in our classroom library ~ so we desperately need some more!

We have learned that there has been a case of strep throat in your child’s class. Symptoms of strep throat include sore throat and varying degrees of tonsil swelling, with or without white pustules, usually (not always) accompanied by fever and redness.

If your child complains or shows signs of the symptoms, you should contact your family physician.

Children treated for strep throat are generally presumed to be non-contagious 24 hours after antibiotic therapy has begun.

iPad Curriculum

I stumbled upon this today.  I haven't looked at it very closely yet, but it looked like some great tools that you could use at home if you have an iPhone, iPad, or any device in which you can use the Apple App Store.  Check out http://www.ipadcurriculum.com/ to see if there are any programs that you could be using at home!  The best ones I saw listed were some math games and stories.  Just passing it along :o)
